Quick Thought: KanColle and the Weekend

A quick little thing. I finished Kantai Collection’s Fall 2017 event. An event that apparently had 60% completion rate for an event of it’s size. And most of those completing it were doing so in ‘Easy’. Not ‘Medium/Normal’ or ‘Hard’. So it is with some delight I can say I completed all four maps of the rather horribly designed event in ‘Normal/Medium’. I got myself a new duck, sub, and two coastal defense ships.

I also wrote something for it, because I couldn’t help but write a little in-headcanon/universe piece.

As for the weekend? I will be going to what seems to be my -last- anime convention for the time being. My seniority at my workplace is high, but not high enough to obtain the dates needed for Anime Expo or Katsucon next year. That and I am saving my vacation hours to go back to the Philippines and Japan next Fall. I am still mulling over wanting to do blog posts, or I’ll just post a gallery of pictures and my overall impressions. With the current structural and operation upheavals at work, I honestly want to relax this weekend and not do anything much.

Anyways, I hope those who follow my blog have a good afternoon, I’m off to do post-event prep and getting my girls back to resource and training runs. And probably pack my bags tonight.
